The Practice
Based in Ponteland in north east England, Robin Wood and Katie Wood are chartered town planning consultants, with 30 years combined experience, offering planning services throughout Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, Cumbria and Lancashire to both private and public sector clients. The practice regularly works on schemes within local authority areas of Northumberland, Tyneside, Durham, Carlisle and Penrith/Eden. The company provides a comprehensive range of planning services such as: planning advice, preparation and submission of planning applications, negotiation and representation on behalf of applicants and third parties, planning appeals, enforcement appeals, public inquiries and appeal hearings. The consultancy can also undertake site search, selection and appraisal, preparation of development briefs, development plan monitoring and representation. Planning services to local authorities are also provided with work previously undertaken for Northumberland County Council, Northumberland National Park Authority, Lake District National Park Authority and North Tyneside Council.
The practice which was started in 2002, aims to provide realistic planning adivice and services which are specific to the objectives of the individual client.
