The Practice
Tweedale is a Town Planning, Architectural and Project Management consultancy based in Wolverhampton in the West Midlands with 20 professional and support staff. The planning section has been in operation since 1979 and Clients include:- major and local housebuilders, commercial developers, national leisure and recreation operators, retailers, leisure and brewing companies, care operators and providers, landowners, Local Authorities and private individuals.
The practice offers a comprehensive planning and development service for the whole of the UK.
Main Planning Services
The Planning team has substantial knowledge and experience in Town Planning related matters and provides expert advice in respect of the preparation and submission of all types of planning application; preparing evidence and written statements for Planning Appeals; co-ordinating and appearing as expert witness at Public Local Inquiries and Hearings; liaising and negotiating with LPAs, statutory consultees and key stakeholders.
Expert planning advice and guidance is also provided in the promotion of land and buildings through the review of Development Plans; the preparation and submission of representations to and appearances at Examinations in Public and Development Plan Inquiries, and the monitoring of Local, Regional and National Planning Policy and other Guidance.
The Practice also has extensive expertise in the production of design briefs, master plans, design and access statements and in respect of all design and layout details.
Recent projects
These include master plans and applications for various residential developments; expansion and development of industrial premises, business parks and leisure facilities; advising companies on land and property portfolios; development and asset realisation.
