Environmental Assessment/Planning

Jacobs has extensive experience in coordinating and managing environmental assessments. With more than 350 in-house specialists, we can provide a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team able to meet the requirements at every stage of an environmental assessment - from scoping and feasibility through to report preparation.

Jacobs's specialist environmental planning professionals have extensive, up-to-date experience of helping clients to deal effectively with an expanding range of environmental issues. We base our approach on partnership - working with organisations to understand their needs and tailoring our solutions to meet them. Jacobs helps developers and our public sector clients to understand their legislative requirements and provides specialist environmental expertise throughout any project. This includes seeking screening opinions from planning authorities, undertaking scoping studies to determine the scope of the EIA or SEA, conducting specialist studies, carrying out full sustainability appraisals and consulting stakeholders.
