Charisma offers a wide range of town planning services for private and public sector clients, charities, parish and town councils, neighbourhood forums and community groups and individuals.

We specialise in helping and supporting neighbourhoods and communities to develop ideas for the future of their area. We run workshops and other events facilitating the development of ideas, production of neighbourhood plans, liaision with the local Council and other service providers.

We also offer bespoke training on planning issues for professionals, elected members and other groups as well as facilitating workhops and meetings.

Charisma is run by two experienced chartered town planners, Ann Skippers and Clive Hollyman. Our main base is in Essex, but we work all over the UK. We have a network of planning, design and legal specialists giving us additional expertise when needed.

We can help you with feasibility studies for your development proposal, pre-application advice, planning applications and appeals.

Charisma has a long track record in its work on the development plan system. For local authorities we can act as a 'critical friend' offering advice and support on the LDF system and with the preparation of DPD/SPD documents on your behalf.

Additionally both Directors have management expertise and have worked extensively with local authorities to improve the performance of planning services. We offer reviews of procedures and can also provide interim management services for local authorities.
