QuBE is an integrated planning, conservation, urban design consultancy specialising in historic buildings and environments.
We undertake work from the very small (individual properties) to the large scale (Masterplans and strategies) and thrive on tackling difficulat problems, especially in historic contexts. Our clients include private individuals, local authorities, developers and companies and we are experiences at working with with architects, landscape architects and other planning consulancies.
Our conservation expertise is comprehensive and includes detailed advice on works to historic buildings, research, producing conservation plans and statements of significance, management plans and requesting certificates of immunity from listing or applications to list buildings. QuBE has a wealth of experience in the production of conservation area appraisals, conservation plans for areas and complexes of buildings, producing site appraisals, producing grant bids and managing conservation grant schemes.
Our urban design expertise includes the production of area and site masterplans, site development briefs, design codes, design guidance and public realm strategies and design.
QuBE also offers planning and development advice including planning policy analysis, liaison, negotiation and submission of planning applications, producing supplementary planning guidance, appeal and inquiry work together with experience of setting up and managing public consultation exercises.
