Birketts LLP is a long established and highly successful practice with offices in Ipswich, Norwich and Cambridge having 41 partners and a total staff in excess of 280. We are large enough, therefore, to provide specialist skills in most areas of law, but small enough to maintain a personal service.
The Commercial Property team is led by partner Chris Schwer who has the support of one of the best regarded and largest property teams in East Anglia, numbering 52 specialists. The team works for commercial and retail developers from the planning process through to sale and lease work. It also acts for a number of national house builders on option agreements, site acquisition and plot sale work. The depth and range of expertise means the team can work together in major and complex transactions on cost effective terms.
Birketts LLP is able to advise and represent clients on all aspects of planning law including applications, appeals, enforcement cases and High Court challenges.
