NORTOFT
Nortoft is an independent, multi-disciplined consultancy offering services in planning, regeneration and land promotion, as well as health, sport, leisure, culture and event management.
With extensive experience at national, regional and local levels we offer the highest quality professional advice to our clients, evidenced by a very high level of contract re-appointment.
Site Identification, Feasibility Studies and Masterplanning
We identify and assess sites and their suitability for development, highlighting appropriate land uses, facility mixes, masterplanning and delivery options.
We undertake economic and employment land studies and support land promotion through strategic planning advice.
As well as wider development we also specialise in community provision such as green infrastructure, sport, leisure, education, health and other public facilities.
Strategic Policy Development
We have experience in the formulation of various planning documents, including Joint Core Strategies, SPDs and DPDs, Area Action Plans and Growth Point/Area Infrastructure Lists. We write Developer Contributions policies. We advise landowners and developers on land promotion.
Project Management and Partnership Development
We support major development projects, establishing partnerships between public, private and third sector parties. We have established professional services partners (architects, engineers, QAs, legals and others)and provide, where needed, a one-stop-shop service for clients.
Sport, Leisure, Health and Culture
PPG 17: We undertake full PPG17/Playing Pitch Strategies/Open Space strategies
Sports Facilities Feasibility Studies: We undertake feasibility and viability studies for new sport and leisure facilities, including business plans, delivery and management options, potential for co-location of sport with education, health and other community facilities.
Health: Nortoft supports the NHS, Hospital/PCTs and local authorities in plannng for health improvements and "Upstream Prevention", including mass particpation events and facility co-location.
Culture, Heritage and Environment: We advise on cultural, heritage and environmental facility developments. This includes country parks, environment/visitor centres, land management and business plans.
