Our planning team works for both the public and private sector. Our main role is to gain planning permission for our clients efficiently and effectively, and to produce an attractive development, compatible with its location and sustainable in design and operation.
In addition, we: *represent clients at appeals, public inquiries and examinations in public; *make representations to the development plan process, such as in RSSs and LDFs; *prepare development briefs; masterplans; AAPs; SPDs and other forward planning documents; *specialise in waste management and planning; *make sound objections to inappropriate development proposals by others; *prepare statements of community involvement and seek full engagement in proposals through early, innovative and frequent liaison between developers, local authorities, statutory consultees, the local community, and other stakeholders; and *undertake research in planning and environmental issues.
