The Practice

Established in 1984, the Practice is a limited company with five consultants. All are fully qualified town planners and members of the Royal Town Planning Institute. All originally worked in the public sector and have extensive public and private sector experience.

The Philosophy

Brian Barber Associates' reputation as an effective Practice of Chartered Town Planning consultants, who provide their clients with a personal service, has helped develop it as one of the most reliable consultancies in the country. All work is approached with the same philosophy of personal attention, value for money and the provision of an effective and rapid response, to ensure the Practice's reputation. The Service

The Practice manages a comprehensive range of planning issues, including pre-consultation discussions leading to the preparation and submission of planning applications, planning appeals for both public and private sector clients by way of written submissions, informal hearings and public inquiries; LDF submissions and appearances, the preparation of environmental assessments; development briefs, site appraisals; strategic housing land availability assessments and research; S106 negotiations and legal agreements
