Established in 1966, LUC (Land Use Consultants) was one of the first environmental consultancies in the UK, and now employs nearly 90 professional staff across the core areas of planning, design, management and ecology.
We offer a multi-disciplinary service, bringing together specialist teams to create a bespoke service for each project. Teams are led by senior personnel with long-standing experience, providing comprehensive advice on all planning and environmental issues. Underlying all of LUC's work is a strong commitment to sound environmental planning and promoting sustainable development on behalf of our clients.
LUC offers the full range of planning services, with particular expertise in development control, implementation, strategic planning and policy formulation, planning research, sustainability appraisal and both strategic and project level environmental assessment.
Current/recent public and third sector clients include Defra, Natural England, Environment Agency, The National Trust, CCW and local authorities.
