Halcrow is a leading international planning and design consultancy offering the full range of planning services and associated environmental,economic and transport advice to public and private sector organisations throughout the world. We are currently working in over 40 countries and are an RTPI Learning Partner.
Halcrow undertakes infrastructure planning, policy studies, brownfield regeneration, strategic planning and urban design studies. The company is well known for its masterplanning work in the Middle East, India and China, and for its work with government agencies in the UK. Our most active sectors are transport, power, flood defences, new communities and economic appraisals.
Outputs from our multi-disciplinary teams include planning applications, environmental assessments, sustainability appraisals, transportation assessments, economic appraisals, policy analysis, LDF and development plan representations, and CEEQUAL assessments. We also undertake appeals, hearings and inquiries.
Our planners work for a range of organisations, including government agencies, housebuilders, landowners, LPAs, NHS trusts and investment agencies. We have framework agreements with the Homes and Communities Agency, Environment Agency, Highways Agency, Scottish Enterprise and Urban Regeneration Companies.
