Planning and Design
Halcrow is a leading international planning and design consultancy offering the full range of planning services and associated environmental,economic and transport advice to public and private sector organisations throughout the world. We are currently working in over 40 countries and are an RTPI Learning Partner.
Halcrow undertakes policy studies, regeneration initiatives, strategic planning and urban design studies. The company is well known for its master planning work in the Middle East, India and China. Sectoral work includes tourism, leisure and economic appraisals.
Outputs from our multi-disciplinary teams include Environmental Assessments, Sustainability Appraisals, Transportation Assessments, Economic Appraisals, policy analysis, strategic and spatial planning advice, LDF, RSS and development plan representations, and CEEQUAL assessments. We also undertake the processing of planning applications, appeals, hearings and inquiries.
The Planning and Design team work for a range of organisations, including Government Departments, Health Trusts, developers and investment agencies. We are on Frameworks for English Partnerships, the Environment Agency, Highways Agency, RDAs (eg SWRDA,AWM,and EEDA), Scottish Enterprise and Urban Regeneration Companies.
