RPS is the largest planning consultancy in the UK with more than 141 qualified professionals and many more support staff. Many of the professionals are recognised in their fields as leading expert witnesses appearing regularly at inquiries and tribunals considering development proposals in the residential, retail, commercial leisure and regeneration sectors. A particular specialism of RPS is environmental assessment where the Company can draw on the strengths of several hundred in-house specialist staff.
RPS plays a key role in leading and co-ordinating complex and challenging projects. Key infrastructure such as airports, railways, power stations and water supply schemes in addition to large scale developments encompassing new settlements and strategic urban extensions, retail and business parks, stadia and leisure complexes and urban regeneration of many of our cities typify the sort of project where RPS skills can be used to best effect.
Taking architecture, urban design, civil & structural egineering and building services offices into account, RPS Planning and Development operates from 30 offices across the UK.
