Hunter Page is a specialist planning firm offering a personalised service to individuals, companies and public organisations throughout the UK. We assist our clients in achieving their development aspirations by influencing planning policy, unlocking development potential, and securing planning permission.
Hunter Page provides professional advice on a wide range of planning issues from, applications and appeals, feasibility studies, site appraisals, development plan policy and representations, urban design and masterplanning services, conservation and regeneration.
The company was established in 1993 and has subsequently been involved in a diverse range of planning projects. Our approach has evolved through experience in development schemes throughout the UK, providing us with an insight into complex planning situations and giving our staff effective communications and negotiation skills.
The practice has a broad client base including individual landowners, major commercial developers, house builders, national PLC's and Government Quangos.
Our expertise can be used to great effect on most planning problems. We are therefore happy to provide planning advice on all aspects of housing, industrial, commercial, educational, health and leisure related projects.
Our Practice can advise on the preparation and submission of planning applications. When we are responsible for the submission of an application we aim to negotiate with all interested parties to ensure that our clients receive favourable recommendations at an early stage. Where applications are refused, the practice is widely experienced in appeal work by Written Representation, Informal Hearings, and Public Inquiry. Our practice is able to assemble a professional team to tackle all planning appeals and when required the firm is equipped to provide advocacy at informal hearings and Inquirys.
Our planning team constantly monitor the production of development plans throughout the country. We are therefore well placed to provide initial guidance on the progress of development plans and advise clients on when representations should be made to such plans. We are happy to prepare, submit and negotiate Structure and Local Plan representations and provide expert witnesses to appear at Examinations in Public and Local Inquires. Such representations are crucial in influencing the future use of land and therefore the early involvement of Hunter Page in all these matters ensures the best planning promotion of the clients land interests.
Hunter Page Planning comprises of 12 professional planning staff assisted by a dedicated administration team. The professional staff all have a background in local government, and their expertise ranges from preparing development briefs and environmental assessments through to professional witnesses and staff fully versed with the latest planning guidance.
