Established 1988, following 16 years local authority experience as principal conservation officer. Expertise in conservation includes listed building and conservation area appraisals and design consultancy on building conversion. Expert witness roles for local authorities, corporate, institutional, governmental and private clients. Specialist knowledge of and international authority on Garden Cities and Garden Suburbs and their conservation under ground landlord schemes of management. I will take a key role in Town and Country Planning Association Research Project "Garden Cities and their future" in 2004. I have prepared Design guidance for Letchworth Garden City, Hampstead Garden Suburb, and Poundbury, Dorchester.
