Mr David Brock [ E-mail ]
David leads the Planning and Environmental Law team. He is a leading planning and environmental lawyer and has acted on development projects large and small including Canary Wharf, Kings Cross, Cambourne New Settlement, Whatley Quarry and urban extension s such as Kettering and Daventry . He acts in all areas of planning law, including regeneration, housing, industrial and retail. He is also well known for his work in the minerals and waste planning sphere. David is Chair of the Law Society's Planning and Environment Law Committee and a member of the Law Society's specialist planning panel. He writes extensively and publications include Commercial Environmental Law and Liability (Longman) and articles in the Journal of Planning and Environment Law.
Mrs Beverley Firth [ E-mail ]
Beverley joined Mills & Reeve in 1988 having previously worked for another major regional practice and as an in-house lawyer for a local authority. She deals with both non-contentious work such as negotiating planning applications and agreements and also, being an experienced advocate, with the contentious side such as handling High Court challenges, appeals and local plan representations. She is well known for her work on airfields. Beverley lectures regularly on planning law.
