Richard is both a Chartered Town Planner and a Chartered Surveyor, with over 22 years experience of all aspects of the planning system. He worked for the London Borough of Camden before moving into private practice, and in recent years has gained direct experience of the development industry, by working for a major national housebuilder. He was Chairman of the London Branch of the RTPI in 1991.
Valerie has over 25 years experience in both the private and public sectors relating to a full range of planning issues. She has extensive experience in dealing with major residential, commercial and retail projects. She has particular experience in dealing with complex legal issues relating to Enforcement Notices, Certificates of Lawfulness and Judicial Reviews.
Matthew has over 10 years experience of planning and development projects. He currently provides advice to a range of clients concerning residential, commercial and retail schemes. Matthew previously worked for NLP, Newham Council and urbis Consultants in Australia.
Mike has considerable experience in advising some of the Uk's leading developers, funding institutions and landowners, as well as local planning authorities and other public sector organisations. His advice ranges from the prospects and planning strategy to maximise the prospects of the consent, to the project management of the planning process for large scale mixed use development projects in association with other property professionals. For the local planning authorities, Mike has advised on regeneration strategies, negotiations of planning agreements with the developers, as well as acting as their expert witness at planning appeals and undertaking retail impact and need assessments.
Richard has extensive experience of Development Planning. He has managed a wide range of environmental assessments of major infrastructure projects including light rail, airport, waste water treatment plants and overhead electricity transmission lines. He has also prepared strategies for environmental improvement and recreation provision and feasibility studies to accompany funding bids and support planning applications. He acts as a consents officer for National Grid.
