Pam was educated at Dundee University / Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, School of Town & Regional Planning from which she graduated in 1984 with a BSc(Hons) in Town & Regional Planning.
She worked as Planning Associate with Nick Charlton Smith Associates from 1984 - 88 and as Planning Associate with Brian K Parnell & Associates from 1986 - 90. She became a founding partner in The Charlton Smith Partnership in 1988.
She has 25 years experience of private consultancy work, undertaking masterplanning, applications, appeals, development plans submissions and representations work. During that time she has lectured part-time to Town Planning and Architecture students at the University of Dundee.
She is married with 2 adult children and lives in Carnoustie, by Dundee.
