Associate Director at Temple Environmental Group, previously Senior Partner of Lichfield Planning LLP, a London based planning consultancy working in Britain and abroad. Dalia started life as an architect, but found the challenge of planning more meaningful as it affects all aspects of people’s life, involving the physical, social and economic disciplines. Having joined Prof. Nathaniel Lichfield as partner in work and in life, Dalia has worked on a wide range of private and public sector jobs, in the UK and abroad - advising on development strategies, conducting Community Impact Analyses, and dealing with planning applications and appeals. Her main focus is on ‘integrated planning’. She won an RTPI award for the Integrated Planning and environmental Assessment method (1991) and has devised and applied the method of Dynamic Planning – an integrated concept and techniques for the management of urban change, involving ‘active’ and ‘recipient’ stakeholders’. Dalia published several articles on these topics and applied these methods to urban and community regeneration and to regional development strategies in the UK and abroad.
